We stopped here on our way through Windamere. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. We chose to sit in to eat and didn't have to wait long for our food. There was a steady stream of customers which I always find reassuring. We'd ordered Pizza's and they were great,plenty of toppings and lightly spiced fries. We dived into them so quickly I almost forgot to get pics. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend.
19/02 just has dinner here very reasonable when compared to London prices. The donee kebab is one the best I have had. The chap takes the meat out of the skewer and then cooks it separately with onions and sauces so it’s not bland. By mistake he prepared a wrong pizza and he gave us the original one we had ordered as a takeaway. One of the guys was constantly cleaning the work top veru clean place. Very good service good price what else would you want. Thanks
Called in when passing, got a Donna and chips chessy chips, and Donna meat salad with Kebab great good portions price good decently worth a visit
We arrived Windermere around 8 plus, most of the restaurants were either closed or stopped taking customers. Found this wonderful eatery. Nice food and great service! CASH only. P.S: the salads is very fresh!

I would definitely recommend Popeye's for a place to eat. A great variety of food to suit all tastes. I've had the Donar kebab which was excellent and definitely bigger than expected and also tried a pizza & garlic bread freshly made and also delicious. Could not fault only praise the owner who was welcoming and very friendly as was his staff. Although I chose to take away there is a seating area to accommodate and very clean and tidy. Thank you guys I will return if back in the area.
Honestly the Lake district is a rip off when it comes to food. But we did some googling from our hotel and Popeyes Pizza came up . Where we so surprised at the prices so reasonable. So we got in the car it was a 7 minute drive from where we were staying. Restaurant in our hotel was so over priced. Anyway we arrived there is a small seating area. So you can sit inside to eat. We had the Pizzas. Absolutely brilliant definitely 100% nicer than Domino's . Staff are friendly, have a great sense of humour. Make you feel welcome. Honestly great food at a Honestly great price you walk out with change in your pocket I wish more places in Windermere would follow suit with his prices and humour and quality of food.
